Review of Let's Be Cops (2014) by Keshav P — 18 May 2015
On the one hand, the second half of this movie was really good. On the other hand, the first half of this movie was so bad, I can't ignore it. So I have settled on a rating of 3/5 stars. The first half of this movie simply relied on tired gags and raunchiness which is the type of comedy that is used when movies don't know how to be funny and the lack of development made the two leads very unlikable.
Everything changed in the second half of the movie, where the comedy becomes genuine and the story picks up pace into a cop buddy movie where the two leads must take down the "bad guys." If you can get through the horrible first half of the movie, Let's Be Cops is worth watching for its fun final act.
