Review of Lethal Weapon 3 (1992) by Mariano C — 04 Jan 2009
This series gets noisier and more chaotic as it goes along, sacrificing vitality and suspense with each latter installment for madcap and scattershot gags - less Die Hard and more Three Stooges. #3 also has the weakest police"story" of the four, and maybe the dullest stunts, but nevertheless these characters have built up such goodwill that we'd go anywhere with them.
Love Riggs's cheesy puns and his more serious moments with Murtaugh. The scar-comparison scene is a minor classic, and of course I love the dog too.
