Review of Lethal Weapon 2 (1989) by Grëg W — 30 Mar 2010
One of the best sequels in movie history to ever be made. this is actually BETTER than the first film, and the addition of joe pesci makes it infinitely more enjoyable. this time around, riggs and murtagh deal with arjen rudd (joss ackland), the south african minister of affairs and his corrupt goings on in the U.
S. as he and his henchmen smuggle gold coins and drugs, they claim diplomatic immunity, which literally hinders any americans from stopping them. riggs and murtagh are not amused, and take matters into their own hands, which, while almost costing them their jobs, works to their benefit like always.
throughout this, they take another job as bodyguards to a federal witness named leo getz (pesci), which adds to the hilarity and fun. this is another must see if you're a fan of action and comedy, along with mel gibson and danny glover.
