Review of Lethal Weapon 2 (1989) by Gary P — 23 Sep 2015
After the greatness of the original, Lethal Weapon 2 manages to be a good sequel, but not a great one.
I have 2 key issues with the film: #1: Pesci is indeed a great actor, and his performance in GoodFellas is nothing short of iconic. But his character here (Leo Getz) doesn't really add much for me. #2: Arjen Rudd is an alright villain, but not too memorable.
One more thing, you gotta love this quote:
"Diplomatic immunity!".
"It just got revoked.".
