Like Die Hard 2, Lethal Weapon 2 is superior to the first film. The villians are more menacing and Danny Glover and Mel Gibson are in greater jeopardy. The action is neat and not generic. I also love the comic relief delivered by the Oscar winner Joe Pesci.
