Review of Lethal Weapon 2 (1989) by David M — 19 Feb 2016
It's interesting: I've heard people saying that this is darker than the original, and others saying it's funnier. Which one is it, I don't know. But what I do know is that this is an incredibly awesome sequel.
More of Riggs' backstory is told, the friendship between Riggs and Murtaugh has clearly developed, the action is still fun, and Joe Pesci's character, instead of just being plain annoying later, is humorously annoying, and that's o.
K. Extra kudos to Mel Gibson for his performance in one of the movie's saddest scenes. The ending feels a tad forced, but because of how great Riggs and Murtaugh are together, it doesn't matter.
