There's a bit more drama in this than you'd think...what with Mel Gibson almost blowing his head off and all...but still, it's Lethal Weapon, so it's the old 80s buddy cop movie for the most part.
Better than the sequels...b/c those just got more and more ridiculous...but it's still really really hard to watch this one the whole way through with Mel's mullet glaring at you the entire time.
