Lethal Weapon is not an ordinary action film but rather innovative and filled with several surprises.
*The characterisation is excellent.
*I thought it would be the black guy who was crazy and the white guy who was serious before watching this film. It was actually the other way around.
*The dialogues were splendid. I couldn't believe there was so much focus on dialogues in an action film.
*Mel Gisbson is in great form. Never seen him act so well.
The only dissappointment was the less amount of action and lack of complexity in the plot. Overall, a very good movie.
