Let The Right One In is without a doubt a great love story, but there were a few problems I found that hindered the movie's overall spectacle.

It's rare to see child actors master their roles in mature fashion, but the lead actors here did great, making them a likeable pair and their love for each other feel genuine.

One of the problems I had with the movie was that the subplot felt like speedbumps in the pacing, as the characters in it weren't very intriguing. The subplot however becomes a bit more interesting later on.

Usually I'm not as picky with continuity errors, but a particular one during a scene in a hospital glares with plot illogicality.

The problem that really hurts the movie is a scene (with some poor usage of CGI) that could've been done much differently, since the scene in question made very little sense and is somewhat of an insult to the viewer's intelligence.

On a higher note, the camerawork is outstanding, while the musical score is majoritively soothing.

While I don't think Let The Right One In is quite as close to perfection as many believe, it is nonetheless a fresh approach to its genre.
