I completely agree with reviewer Ken G. I had read so many incredible reviews for this film and the trailer had me wanting so much more. Then, when I did see it, my final impression was "yeah, it's good but not as good as advertised.
" For me, there were just too many unexplored plot points that would've made this story so much more compelling (i.e. when Oskar is asking Eli about what vampires can/cannot do). I applaud the original take on the vampire genre and the subtle acting (especially from Lina Leandersson as Eli) but it's not the be-all, end-all.
