Review of Let Me In (2010) by Schmidtface — 04 Feb 2011
Excellent film...I wasn't sure how it was going to be since the 'vampire' plots have been ramped lately and exhausting, but LET ME IN was put together very well, the sound design and the mood and the cinematography went great with the story.
I personally liked the part when he finds out that Abby's dad wasn't really her dad after he saw the old photograph of the man at a young age next to her. It was a nice combination of fantasy and real life, the bullies were a key role for the movie, and during the scene when the main bully's older brother is picking on him in front of everyone, it brings a certain human feeling to the overall characters.
