Review of Let Me In (2010) by Nicola H — 30 Dec 2013
While it is not as well made and rich in atmosphere as the fist film, it most certainly still is a great film. Chloë Grace Moretz shines as Abby the vampire, even if she does not contribute the heartbreakingly realistic portrayal that Lina Leandersson did in the original.
There is not really that much else to say about the film, as it is pretty damn similar to the original with only a few changes that are more or less as good as the elements it differs from in the Original version.
So personally, I prefer the original, but I honestly do not see that big a difference between the two versions. Both are highly recommendable and very underrated films that stand as proof of the fact that you can still make material with a bad reputation good.
