Review of Let It Be (1970) by Eric S — 26 Aug 2007
If you aren't afraid to see the greatest band in rock and roll history dissolving in front of your eyes, this is an incredible film. You witness the evolution of group as individuals, from Ringo's bright Octopus' Garden to Paul's Maxwell's Silver Hammer, and my favourite, along with the infamous rooftop concert, John's Don't Let Me Down.
.. if only the police had known that they were ending the last performance by four of the most influential musicians of the past hundred years.
