Review of Let It Be (1970) by Jerry L — 16 Nov 2007
What was supposed to be the blueprint of making an album became the blueprint of a band breaking up. The Beatles were all but finished during the making of this film, which can be painful to watch for those who loved the mop-top Beatles.
The arrival of Yoko Ono casts a dark cloud on the proceedings, and John Lennon's wicked humor has became dry and cruel at this point.
