Review of Less Than Zero (1987) by Luke M — 16 Feb 2008
I've been re-watching some 80s flicks and I have to say they are dated. The 80s soundtrack all but ruined this movie, although I remember this being a somewhat decent drama. After knowing what Downey has gone through, you get the feeling this role isn't much of a stretch.
Good soundtrack. You get the feeling that Avnet wanted to make the anti-John Hughes film. He somewhat succeeded. Note: I remember a vivid "money shot" with Downey Jr, but when I got this on demand from Comcast- money shot gone.
What the hey? Is comcast edited by Clearplay? By the way, this movie is fun- if anything to watch rich people throw their lives down the toilet with drugs and alcohol.
