Review of Less Than Zero (1987) by Lee S — 14 Aug 2008
Robert Downey Jr carries this film. It's a shame it doesn't stick to the book more - hardly recognized them as the same story but despite this it IS a good film. McCarthy was good as Clay, I think people seem to forget the character is supposed to be the way he is, numb/lost/etc ... My favourite scene was the one between RDJ & the little girl.
I think it's time for a remake, one that sticks to the book as much as possible!
