I'm not much of a fan of musicals but Les Miserables is well crafted with beautiful set designs, a wonderful cast including Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, and Amanda Seyfried, often decent musical songs, despite some mediocre singing, and intense war action.
