Review of Les Misérables (2012) by Shawn M — 22 Jul 2014

I've never been a fan of musicals where 95% of the words are sang. But this film had such great performances and an epic scale that really did this classic musical justice. Anne Hathaway's performance was small, but felt like she put so much into it.

I probably wouldn't watch this film again, but I applaud it for what it is and glad I saw it.
