This is a remarkably well presented interpretation of the magnificent musical. It combines the ability of a film to create astoundingly realistic settings with the contextual singing of a stage presentation.
The individual performances are stirring yet combine for an ensemble the leaves the story and the music as the star. A special huzzah for including Colm Wilkinson in the cast.
