Review of Les Misérables (2012) by Normand — 07 Jan 2013
I thoroughly enjoyed this musical and by time forgot it was a musical. It was successfully captivating because of its natural believable characters. Rather than the professional repetitive opera rendition, it was more than refreshing to experience real acting with a tangible connection.
I rarely applaud after a performance, but I couldn't refrain after this performance. Efficiently carried through and excellence on all accounts: costumes, sets, casting & direction. Perfect and exuberant.
A unique movie-musical incomparible to any computerized, phoney, spectacles, we are accustomed to viewing.
