Review of Les Misérables (1998) by Jake H — 03 Apr 2009
The name scared me but Beth and Stace wanted to go so I went. I was floored. Great acting, great story, great themes. The "grace" in this movie is moving. I saw the broadway play in NYC and it was equally well done and "instructive" -- I didn't know much about the French revolution prior.
This is one of those stories that clearly shows grace. I loved it and I want to be a man like Jhean Val Jhean (sp?).
