Review of Leprechaun 4: In Space (1997) by Buddy A — 09 Sep 2012
Thank God Warwick Davis went on to play Professor Flitwick in the Harry Potter films because with the Leprechaun series, his career was sinking faster than a concrete block. The first "Leprechaun" was popular in its day because of its originality, but it was nothing special.
Then, "Leprechaun 2" was made, and folks started realizing how bad the movies were. Things only got worse from there, and "Leprechaun 4" is the king of the crap. The film takes a ridiculous premise and crushes it with terrible acting and dialogue and an even worse story.
I was praying for one redeeming scene, but the movie only got more and more wretched as it went along. However, I can't say that I was expecting much out of the movie. I don't really know why I watched it.
I was bored and it was on SyFy. Still, I would rather watch this than "BloodRayne." But on any day, I would rather eat my toenail clippings than watch either. "Heck nah.".
