Review of Léon: The Professional (1994) by Chris G — 17 Jan 2015

2/4.
Well directed but nettlesome action picture about an assassin's attempt at helping a girl, whose family is murdered. And to teach her his work. Artificial situations, and over familiar, with Oldman overacting like he has never before. Writer-director Besson seems to be trying, but the film is completely style over substance.
