Review of Léon: The Professional (1994) by Daniel J — 22 Nov 2015

I really enjoyed this film the first time I saw it and it seems to improve every time I rewatch. It's very well put together with great characters and storyline. It's got a great atmosphere and it's great at building tension.

Jean Reno is perfectly cast as Leon and this is definitely his best role. The same can be said for Natalie Portman, as far as I'm concerned this is still her best role. As always Gary Oldman is on top form and showcases what a fantastic actor he is in every part he plays.
