Fantastic movie about the ill-fated comedian Lenny Bruce. Great performance by Dustin Hoffman. From the sound of his voice to the mannerisms of his stage performances. Great acting. The story is told like that of Raging Bull.
Splicing his life experiences with bits of his comedy told in clubs. The editing is very simple, yet it all works out to advance the plot in a quick way. Lots of quick cuts.
