Review of Lemmy (2010) by Adam K — 12 Sep 2011
The first thing one would ask when watching this is "How the fuck is this guy still alive?" This is such a fascinating doc about the the godfather of heavy metal which portrays the lifestyle he has lived for almost four decades.
Amongst the fact that he drinks a bottle of Jack each day, chain smokes and openly takes speed, you are shown his charismatic personality and his witty style of humor. There is just no way you can dislike Lemmy Kilmister.
He has and continues to live by his own rules, shying away from the high end rock n' roll lifestyle and choosing to remain humble. In a very unique way, this is one of the most inspirational and uplifting docs about one man's refusal to succumb to the rules of mainstream music and how he has remained on top the game for almost 40 years.
A must see!
