Review of Legends of the Fall (1994) by Justin S — 05 May 2009
Why would it be necessary to spend several minutes setting up a heavy machine gun during an assault on the enemy camp to kill one single soldier stuck in barbed wire? The stupidity of that one scene, along with the indian narrator doing his chant frequently at random inappropriate places, pretty much ruined this one for me.
It had potential to be truly great, but several amateur looking scenes amidst the overall good ones, and various other small problems unfortunately prevented it from becoming so in my mind.
