Review of Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return (2014) by Ryan V — 31 Aug 2014

I'm cutting this movie some slack. It's visuals and music aren't up to Pixar, Disney or Dreamworks standards. But it's not a terrible film. It bombed horribly at the box office, and I was expecting something excruciatingly bad.

What I got was a reasonably entertaining film for kids. And that's the key: it's for kids. Where Oz: The Great and Powerful could be enjoyed by young and older audiences, this was squarely aimed at the kids.

My four year old adores it. Part of my rating is based off of that, and the smile it put on his face.
