Well done film that combines spectacular martial arts, war action, and historical drama with a dash of film noir thrown in. Donnie Yen does a great job in the title role of Chen Zhen, a character that's been played before by the likes of Bruce Lee and Jet Li.
Worth seeing not only for fans of martial arts, but also for those that like their action movies to have a bit more depth. One note- if you dub the film in English, still keep the subtitles on, so you can understand the Chinese narrative text.
