The casting in this movie was excellent. Tom Hardy did an amazing job in both roles. Told from the perspective of Reggie's wife Frances I think that this might be why so much of the violence was left out.
Ron was portrayed more as your creepy gay uncle instead of the psychopath that he likely was. 'Twas interesting but not great.
