Sweet little piece of Saturday-night escapism. Reese Witherspoon hits the comedic notes, but I particularly dig the one dramatic moment at the law school party. After Warner benignly suggests that Elle stick to fashion marketing, Reese steps back - her big, blue eyes glazing over, a half-smile tugging wistfully at one corner of her lips, her Playboy bunny ears, slightly less perky than before - and says, "I'm never gonna be good enough for you, am I?".
Like totally.
