Review of Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains the Same (1976) by Rene D — 19 Jul 2013
This is a fairly odd movie. The "dream" sequences (for the most part) are interesting, but some come off as a bit odd and weird and even boring to some. While I do have mixed feelings about the dream sequences, Led Zeppelin's 1973 at the Madison Square Garden is just awesome.
All the songs are performed well with a mix of improvisation and sound techniques. I would recommend this film only for the hardcore fans. But if you don't like Led Zeppelin's music or acid-fest-like-arthouse movies, this is not for you.
I personally like it okay, as I said before the live show is a solid 10/10 but the acid sequences can be odd.
