Review of Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains the Same (1976) by Pancrasher — 29 Oct 2021
I'm a fan, so I really enjoyed it. Lots of great live footage plus tongue-in-cheek fantasy sequences make for an entertaining watch. Dazed and Confused is majestic self-indulgence from musicians at the height of their powers.
The playing is tightened-up and polished compared to the original raw audio, so calling it live is a bit of a stretch but I guess that's normal practice for live rock albums.
An unmissable treat for Zep fans. How The West Was Won is really good too.
