Nick Cage gives his best performance, which is so good that it just makes me scratch my head when he slogs through crap like Next and Ghost Rider. Elizabeth Shue ain't bad either, even though her career peaked here.
This is one of my favorite movies, and I revisit it frequently, because of the reality of the performances. Brilliant.
