Well, I usually don't like Nicholas Cage (perhaps that's an understatement...) but he did a good job in the down-and-out department. I also thought Elisabeth Shue put in a good performance. It was quite the lesson in unconditional acceptance, this film.
Some seriously dodgy effects with the soundtrack left me shaking my head in despair, though. Apart from that it was a reasonable film, although I *still* don't want to visit America, LOL!
