Review of Leaving Las Vegas (1995) by Kenny — 08 Sep 2008
A raw, blunt, tragic love story that goes all the way to the edge. Nicolas Cage nails it as an obsessed alcoholic that literally wants to drink himself to death. Along the way, he meets up with Elisabeth Shue's character who is a hooker.
They fall in love but its not enough for Cage's character to stop drinking up to his final moment. Excellent film!
