Review of Leaving Las Vegas (1995) by Cadel K — 05 Aug 2015
Its a film that isn't interested in making any compromises and while it can be very bleak, there is always the tenderness in Elisabeth Shue's performance to fall back on. Outside of that, Nicolas Cage gives his career's best performance and brings humanity to a character hellbent on drinking himself to death.
