Review of Leaving Las Vegas (1995) by Luke W — 04 Apr 2011
Despite the pervading sadness that is evident on the surface, I appreciated the fine acting by Cage and Shue, who made me care for the first time about an alcoholic and a prostitute. Add to that the haunting jazz soundtrack, and you have a film that should definitely be followed by something lighter.
