Review of Leaves of Grass (2009) by Paul Z — 02 May 2012
A comedy and a thriller, but never a comic thriller. It's that unnerving and offbeat, and it takes all sorts of risks and draws the most off-the-wall intertextual parallels, fascinating layers and daring tonal shifts.
There is a mind behind it all, gleeful creativity, unmistakable ambition.
