An earnest production about slightly dysfunctional people on the fringes of society. It makes a nice change to see middle Americans portrayed as the nice kind generous people which they are rather than hicks as Hollywood does.

Although the acting by the female lead is very good, there is still not enough here really to warrant high marks. It's typical indie, mundane, largely music free and slow.
