Review of Leatherheads (2008) by Manda ~ — 24 May 2009

This was the first movie from George Clooney's new production company, which he also directed. I heard that when this movie bombed Clooney was very hurt. Which is funny, because the movie isn't very good.

First off, all of the humor falls very flat. This is not a funny movie. Then there's all of the flaws. Like historical inconsitancies. In the '20s, EVERYONE SMOKED. While you see ads for cigarettes in this movie, you never see anyone smoking a cigarette.

This is just typical Hollywood anti-smoking bullshit, probably the source of it being smug bastard Clooney. And how come when Clooney and John Krasinski beat eachother in the face repeatedly, they have have no bruises to show for it the next day? This movie is a waste of 2 hours.
