Review of Leatherheads (2008) by Cade L — 05 Feb 2009
A wonderful look at a romanticized 1920's America, as well as a welcome reunion of many O Brother Where Art Thou alumni. Clooney brings back a great deal of Ulysses Everett McGill is the Doge character.
I really enjoyed Zelwegger as well! She was really endearing in her role. One of the coolest parts of the film is its attempt to imitate or pay homage to the good 'ol films of the period, with the music and old fashioned humor.
It was just an enjoyable experience, though as many other reviewers have remarked, a somewhat forgetful one. For my part, thank you George for taking to time to make this anyway. I appreciate that.
