Review of Leatherheads (2008) by Lolita B — 07 Apr 2009
I really enjoyed this film. It was quirky and the dialog was hilarious. Although I can't stand Rene Zellweger, I thought she played a great part in this film. George Clooney was his usual awesome self in this film.
Based on the upstart professional league football of the 1920's, George Clooney's character tries to make a boring sport successful by hiring college football star (John Krasinski) to help boaster attendance and revenue.
Stories open up from there. Although I was not impressed with the police chase scene which seemed to campy for me I really felt that this film had a cute sense of humor that kept me entertained from beginning to end.
I don't care what the critics say this film was the "bees knees".
