Well-directed and looks great, but this tale of the early days of professional football is missing something. I think it probably boils down to the total lack of believability that a big wimp like John Krasinski could ever be viewed as a football or war hero.
Clooney is great - as always - and his sly sense of humor and directing style keep things moving. Could have done with some more football action and more trick plays.
