Review of Leatherface (2017) by Makaveli C — 01 Sep 2018

Although this is actually a prequel to the 1974 original, Leatherface isn't near as bad as some of the other violent horror sequels out there, like The Hills have Eyes 2 (2007), or Halloween 2 (2009).

It's not a perfect horror film for sure, I do have to say that the screenplay could've been better, and the runtime is short, but it does offer plenty of gruesome gore and it was a noble attempt to give interesting back story about the franchise.

But it's too bad that it was such a box office and critical failure, which may kill the franchise. Overall, it's not a super horror flick, but it's decent enough, and it's worth a look !
