Review of Lean On Me (1989) by Yoli G — 28 Jun 2008
A social commentray with a lot of guts; a moral story with a lot of heart. Freeman is wonderful and so real as the one person you would feel free to lean on in bad times, eventhough he is the principal.
Dedication and empathy go a log way int his story of growing pains and stereotypes and learning to be true to oneself instead of living what others expect of you. A solid and evetful story line with a great performance from Freeman, who aso learns about himself in th eporcess of teaching others.
