Review of Le Samouraï (1967) by Dave R — 15 Jan 2009

A tight noir - the acting is solid, the dialogue is sparse and terse and the story is good. a contract killer is double crossed by the men who hired him so he goes after them. but there is more to the story than revenge. a woman he cares about gets caught up in his problems and he makes a tough choice.

I haven't watched a LOT of french movies but generally when I do I like them...
