Without a doubt this is one of the finest bits of film-making in the history of cinema! Jean-Pierre Melville is truly an unsurpassed artist and this film is a masterpiece. The always suave and cool Delon has never been more suave and cool than in this film! LE SAMOURAI is pure, unadulterated, cool.
