Review of Le Samouraï (1967) by Max M — 21 Aug 2008
Alain delon is cool as cool can be in the samurai. this was when the french (i.e. melville) made action films with depth, something American studios -- with the exception of Michael Mann and a few others -- find difficult to achieve at present, and the French of late have not repeated.
if you like guns, noir, character, beautiful shots, paris, women and men, mod clubs, or anything else that is cool, I highly suggest this film.
