Review of Le papillon (2002) by Cynthia S — 08 Oct 2010
Sweet story of an old man and a little girl who learn a lot from each other as their relationship develops. Some plot points are kind of glossed over (the mother is never held accountable for neglecting her child and the old man doesn't even receive a slap on the wrist for taking a minor on a trip without contacting her parent).
The scenery is gorgeous and the girl who plays Elsa is a natural and enchanting little actress.
